Love this place! The food is always amazing. The shrimp and grits are a favorite and the funnel cake fries I have to get every time I go. Margaritas are on point! Oh and Sherri, a server there is absolutely fantastic! Nice covered outdoor area too when it’s cool enough outside. If it were closer to my home, I’d eat there several times a week lol

Cajun loaf was good, I didn't notice any spices other than salt. It was fresh and buttery. Shrimp Brochette was delicious! You can't go wrong with cream cheese, shrimp, and bacon. The seafood platter was amazing. I don't love fish, but this catfish was good. The dirty rice had chunks of meat, and it was just the right amount of seasoning. Crab cake was delicious, too. They were busy, so the service was slow, worth the wait.

This place is everything you could hope for and more! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a friendly vibe that’s only enhanced by the regulars—a true testament to the amazing staff and incredible food. Whether you’re dining inside or on their lovely, fresh patio, you’re in for a treat. For sports fans, this is a dream! With at least 13 TVs playing games, you’ll never miss a moment of the action. The waitstaff strikes the perfect balance between attentive and laid-back, making every visit feel seamless and enjoyable. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! The crawfish macaroni is rich, creamy perfection, and the catfish (fried or blackened) is packed with flavor. Don’t skip the hush puppies or the boudin balls—they’ve got just the right kick of spice. And the bread pudding? Warm, decadent, and unforgettable. Bonus: My coworkers and I discovered you can split the lunch-sized club sandwich with fries between four people—it’s delicious, filling, and such a great deal! We’ll definitely keep coming back and can already see this becoming one of our regular spots. If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a great vibe, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

So pleasantly surprised by the delicious food here! We decided to try this place recently, and not only were we pleasantly surprised with the delicious tasting food, we found that the Boudin balls are perhaps the most delicious ones, maybe ever! I highly recommend ordering the Boudin ball appetizer, and the fried catfish platter was super delicious as well, and even the shrimp and grits was really really good! The shrimp were perfectly blackened, very tasty. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond, on a busy day. Happy to find a wonderful new neighborhood eatery

Ordered Breakfast. Omelet. It was DELICIOUS hot and fresh made to order. Very good. Service was great. Place was nice and clean. I would recommend.

One of the best Louisiana food places I have ever had in Houston. I keep coming back for more Ive been like 5-6 times already. People wait at larger restaurants, so of course there maybe be a wait at a smaller one. Ive even sat at the bar until a table was available which was fine with me. Definitely worth the wait one of my favorite restaurant now. I came during lunch hour, dinner hour and ordered to go.

OMG the food was delicious! The service was great and the atmosphere was terrific. Best catfish I've had in a long time...it was fresh, flavorful and a more than adequate portion.

I eat alot of Cajun food and this place is great! I’m super picky about my gumbo and thought theirs was great. Nice dark roux and plenty of chicken and sausage. The Cajun Chicken Pasta could have been seasoned a bit more, but there was Cajun seasoning at the table so wasn’t a huge deal. The Cajun Boiled Shrimp had plenty of spice and cooked perfectly. The cocktail sauce even was amazing! Definitely recommend The Mitch. Such great flavor and so much food! Parking was not an issue...large common parking lot. No wait when we went. Service good. We sat at a bar height table and it was on the small side for a party of 6.
